Description
Ginger Essential Oil has a warm, spicy, slightly citrusy scent that warms up the atmosphere and adds energy.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) belongs to the same plant family as turmeric and cardamom. It is found throughout the world, especially in Asia and Africa, and has been a prized spice for thousands of years — loved for its instantly recognisable flavour and aroma.
Ginger oil has earned the nickname “the oil of empowerment” — its scent is associated with a feeling of confidence and determination. In aromatherapy it is considered stimulating and warming: ideal for work that needs focus and for cold, grey days when you lack get-up-and-go.
How to use ginger essential oil
- in a diffuser — while working or studying, for a warming, energising atmosphere,
- for a warming massage, diluted in a carrier oil,
- in blends with orange, lemon, cinnamon or frankincense,
- in autumn and winter home fragrance blends.
Volume: 10 ml.
Directions
Diffuser or oil burner: a few drops. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil (e.g. sweet almond, jojoba or coconut).
Caution
Do not swallow. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of the diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
A pinch of spicy energy for grey days!
