Essential oils — how to choose and use them

An essential oil is the concentrated aroma of a plant. A few drops are enough to fill a whole room with scent. Our catalogue includes pure single oils, ready-made fragrance blends and carrier oils for dilution.

Single oils and blends

Single oils such as lavender, eucalyptus or orange let you discover the pure scent of a plant. Blends combine several oils into a composition with a particular mood — for the evening, for work or for a fresh morning.

Roll-ons and carrier oils

Roll-ons are convenient, pre-diluted oils to carry with you. Carrier oils such as sweet almond or jojoba are used to dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin.

How many drops should I add to a burner or diffuser?

For an oil burner usually 3–5 drops on the water in the dish. For a diffuser follow the device instructions — typically 5–10 drops per tank.

What is the difference between English and French lavender oil?

English lavender smells intense and classic, French lavender is softer with a slightly herbal note. Comparing both is the best way to choose.
