Ho Wood Essential Oil — a woody-floral aroma with soft, sweet camphor notes; a versatile scent that appeals to almost everyone.

Ho wood is one of the names of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) — an evergreen of the laurel family (Lauraceae). The steam-distilled oil is one of the richest natural sources of linalool. Its constituents also include cineole, pinene, terpineol, menthol and thymol.

Because it is distilled from twigs and leaves, it has a distinctly woody character, and its scent resembles rosewood — it is even used as an alternative to it. Light floral notes make it an excellent base for blending with other delicate floral oils. Thanks to its well-balanced aroma, it is often chosen as a unisex scent. Pleasant and soothing — ideal for winding down in the evening.

How to use ho wood essential oil

• in a diffuser or oil burner — in the bedroom or living room for a calm evening atmosphere,
• for massage — diluted in a carrier oil, for a moment of relaxation,
• in skincare — a drop in a portion of cream or body oil, including care for mature skin,
• as a room spray — with water in a spray bottle; the oil has deodorising properties.

Do not ingest. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin.
