Description
Parsley Essential Oil — a green, herbal oil that gives blends a fresh, garden-like character.
Parsley is a flowering plant native to the Mediterranean. The two most common types are French curly-leaf and Italian flat-leaf. It is widely used fresh as a culinary herb or dried as a spice. It is bright green with a mild, slightly bitter flavour that pairs well with many recipes.
Aromatically, parsley essential oil adds a distinct herbal character to blends. Its aroma is not to everyone’s taste on its own, so it is best used at a low dilution alongside other essential oils — where it adds a green, fresh note. An oil for experienced aromatherapy enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with herbal accords.
How to use parsley essential oil
- in a diffuser — a drop in a blend with other herbal or citrus oils,
- in homemade fragrance blends and room sprays — as a green, herbal accent,
- on skin — only at a very low concentration (maximum 1.1%), in a carrier oil.
Volume: 10 ml.
Caution
This oil must be used with particular care. Do not exceed a 1.1% concentration on skin. If you take any medication, consult your doctor — interactions are possible. Do not ingest. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding; if under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
