Rose Absolute Essential Oil 10 ml

Rose Absolute Essential Oil has the deep, rich, true rose scent of the Damask rose — luxury in a small bottle.

Poets and lovers have praised the rose for centuries, but this flower is more than a pretty array of fragrant petals. Rose oil, known as the “queen of oils”, is highly sought after for its lush, floral aroma that is both enveloping and calming. In skincare it helps keep skin looking cared-for and radiant, and in aromatherapy it is associated with tenderness, romance and moments when you need comfort.

Rose oil and rose absolute come from the same plants but are processed differently. Rose oil is obtained by steam distillation of the petals — it is thinner and lighter than the absolute and may begin to solidify when chilled. Rose absolute is made using solvents that extract the oil from the flowers. This absolute is made from Rosa damascena and has a powerful rose scent.

How to use rose absolute

• as the base of your own perfume — a drop diluted in jojoba oil on wrists and neck,
• in care for mature skin — a drop in a portion of cream or skincare oil,
• for a romantic evening — in an oil burner or diffuser,
• in the bath — a drop mixed with a carrier oil or bath salts,
• in blends with geranium, sandalwood, jasmine or bergamot.

Volume: 10 ml.

Directions
The absolute is very concentrated — a small amount is enough. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil.

Caution
Do not swallow. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of the diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. External use only. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
