Jasmine Absolute Essential Oil has a rich, sweet, sensual scent of white flowers — one of the most recognisable aromas in perfumery.

Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) is a flowering plant in the olive family (Oleaceae). It is native to the Caucasus, northern Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Himalayas, Tajikistan, India, Nepal and western China.

Jasmine has a powerful yet sweet, pleasing and intimate aroma, typical of flowers that bloom at night. In the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent — and increasingly elsewhere in the world — girls are given its name. The jasmine flower has always been associated with romance and love.

Jasmine blossoms cannot be effectively steam distilled, so they are solvent-extracted to create a highly concentrated absolute with a one-of-a-kind floral scent.

How to use jasmine absolute

• as the base of your own perfume — a drop diluted in jojoba oil on wrists and neck,
• for a romantic evening — in an oil burner or diffuser,
• for a sensual massage — diluted in a carrier oil,
• added to an unscented cream or lotion.

Volume: 10 ml.

Directions
The absolute is very concentrated — a tiny amount goes a long way. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil.

Caution
Do not swallow. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of the diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
