Description
Pure Roman chamomile essential oil has a sweet, herbal, gentle aroma — familiar from a cup of chamomile tea and perfect for a calm evening.
Chamomile oil is made from the flowers of chamomile, a plant related to daisies. There are two varieties: Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile or Anthemis nobilis) and German chamomile (Matricaria recutita or Chamomilla recutita). The two plants look slightly different and their chemical composition also differs.
Roman chamomile has been loved for centuries for its soothing, gentle scent, which encourages relaxation and creates a peaceful atmosphere — after a tense day, in moments of irritability, whenever you need to slow down. If you have ever enjoyed a cup of chamomile tea, you already know this aroma and the sense of calm it brings.
