Hempseed Base Oil 1 Litre

Hempseed carrier oil is a green oil with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids — a great base for diluting essential oils. Essential oils are too concentrated to apply straight to the skin, so blend them with an oil like this one before a massage or bath.

Hemp oil, ranging from dark to light green, is produced from the seeds of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). It is kind to the skin and is used in many skincare products.

Hemp seed has an almost ideal balance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids, along with iron, vitamin E and essential amino acids. Its richness in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, proteins and minerals makes hemp oil wonderfully nourishing and moisturising for the skin, and it brings shine back to your hair.

How to use hempseed oil

• as a base for diluting essential oils — for massage, baths and your own fragrance blends,
• for massage — on its own or with a few drops of your favourite essential oil,
• in your everyday body and hand care and hair care — for softness and shine,
• as an ingredient in homemade cosmetics — scrubs, balms and body oils.
