How to use a woodwick candle

• on the first burn, let the wax melt across the whole surface to prevent tunnelling,
• trim the wooden wick to about 3–5 mm before each use and remove charred bits,
• burn for no more than 3–4 hours at a time,
• once extinguished, cover the jar with the cork lid to keep dust off the wax.
