Description
Palmarosa Essential Oil has a sweet, rose-like scent with a hint of fresh grass — light, floral and very feminine.
Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) is a grass of the Cymbopogon genus (lemongrasses), native to India and Indochina. It is widely cultivated for its aromatic oil. It is best known as palmarosa, or “palm rose”, because it smells sweet and rose-like. Other common names include Indian geranium, gingergrass and rosha.
Palmarosa is valued in care routines for all skin types — dry, oily and combination. Added to a cream or skincare oil, it gives a delicate rose scent, and regular care that includes it helps keep skin moisturised, fresh and radiant-looking. In aromatherapy its scent is associated with comfort and calm — reach for it when you need a little reassurance.
How to use palmarosa oil
- in face and body care — a drop in a portion of cream or carrier oil,
- in a diffuser — for a light, floral scent in the bedroom,
- for a relaxing massage — diluted in a carrier oil,
- in blends with lavender, geranium, sandalwood or citrus oils.
Volume: 10 ml.
Directions
A little goes a long way — one drop is enough. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil or cream.
Caution
Do not swallow. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of the diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
