Description
Orange Essential Oil has a sweet, juicy citrus scent that fills your home with a cheerful, warm atmosphere in moments.
Citrus fruits have been a commercially important crop for thousands of years, and their oils are valued by the perfume, food and beverage industries. Orange essential oil smells sweet and citrusy — like orange peel, only more concentrated.
In aromatherapy, orange oil is regarded as a cheerful, uplifting scent that is at the same time relaxing and calming. It creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere at home — ideal for family evenings, winter afternoons and festive preparations.
How to use orange essential oil
- in a diffuser or oil burner — for a cheerful, cosy atmosphere,
- for a moment of relaxation — in the bath with salts or a carrier oil,
- in care for dull, tired-looking skin — a drop in an unscented cream or oil gives it a fresh scent,
- as a home freshener — a few drops with water in a spray bottle,
- in blends with cinnamon, clove, vanilla or lavender.
Volume: 10 ml.
Directions
Diffuser or oil burner: a few drops. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil (e.g. sweet almond, jojoba or coconut).
Caution
Do not swallow. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of the diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Citrus oils may increase skin sensitivity to sunlight — avoid sun exposure for several hours after applying to skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
A sunny mood in every season!
