Description
White Camphor Essential Oil — a fresh, green, cooling aroma reminiscent of eucalyptus that awakens the senses.
The camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) belongs to the laurel family (Lauraceae) and grows in southern China, Taiwan, Japan and Vietnam. The oil smells fresh and green, and its aroma recalls eucalyptus thanks to its high cineole content.
It is a scent for lovers of bold, crisp compositions — just right on winter days when you want to freshen the air at home.
How to use camphor essential oil
- in a diffuser or oil burner — a few drops for a crisp atmosphere,
- as a room spray — with water in a spray bottle,
- for massage — diluted in a carrier oil (e.g. coconut) for a cool, distinctive scent,
- in blends — a drop of camphor oil adds freshness to compositions with woody and coniferous oils,
- on the patio — insects aren’t fond of its scent.
Volume: 10 ml.
Caution
Do not ingest. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin and patch test first: apply a drop of diluted oil to the inner forearm — if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
