Lavender-coloured taper candles are classic, slender 24.5 cm candles that burn with an even flame for about 7 hours — 10 in a box.

How to use taper candles

• set the candle firmly in a holder suited to a 2.3 cm diameter,
• trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting,
• keep candles away from draughts for an even flame,
• use them to decorate the table for dinners, holidays, weddings or birthdays.
