## Description

<trp-tag data-no-translation="">**English lavender essential oil** is a concentrated oil rich in volatile aromatic compounds, obtained by steam distillation of lavender. Now in a generous 50 ml bottle — for those who reach for lavender every day.

Lavender has accompanied everyday care and home rituals for centuries — added to baths, linen cupboards and homemade cosmetics. Its fresh, sweet, slightly fruity-floral scent is also prized by perfumers. Blend it with carrier oils such as coconut, sweet almond, grapeseed, jojoba, avocado and many more to create your own fragrance and massage blends.

We often picture beautiful French lavender fields, but there are more varieties. How does English lavender differ?

- *Popularity* — gardeners choose English lavender more often than French.
- *Hardiness* — English lavender copes better with changeable weather.
- *Height* — it grows to about 60–90 cm, French lavender to about 60 cm.
- *Flowering* — flowers are of similar size, but French lavender has one of the longest flowering periods, from spring right through summer.
- *Scent* — French lavender is very delicate, with a hint reminiscent of rosemary; English lavender has the intense, familiar lavender aroma.

### How to use English lavender essential oil

- in the bath — a few drops mixed with a carrier oil or bath salts for an evening unwind,
- for a neck and temple massage — diluted in a carrier oil,
- in the bedroom — a drop on a tissue by your pillow for a pleasant, calming scent,
- in your skincare routine — a drop in a little carrier oil to massage into the skin,
- as a room freshener — a few drops with water in a spray bottle.

Volume: 50 ml.

**Directions**
Diffuser: 3–4 drops. On skin: always diluted in a carrier oil (e.g. coconut, sweet almond or grapeseed oil).

**Caution**
Do not swallow. May cause an allergic reaction — patch test first: apply a drop of diluted oil behind the ear or on the inner forearm; if any reaction appears within 24 hours, do not use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical care, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, the inner ear and sensitive areas.
