The plant comes from the Mediterranean, where it has been part of everyday care for hundreds of years. *Helichrysum italicum* has the widest range of uses of all helichrysum species.

In cosmetics, helichrysum is best known as an ingredient in mature skincare — a small amount added to a carrier oil or cream enriches your daily ritual and gives it a special scent. Many people find its warm aroma comforting and uplifting.

### How to use Helichrysum Essential Oil

- in facial care — 1–2 drops mixed with a carrier oil (e.g. jojoba) or a dab of cream,
